A RESOLUTION REVISING FEE SCHEDULE FOR LICENSING OF BUSINESSES PURSUANT TO ORDINANCE NO. 243; SUPERSEDING RESOLUTION NO. 257

 

Whereas, the fee schedule for annual business license fees set forth in  Resolution No. 257 did not provide a fee for sole proprietorship or owner operated businesses;

 

The City Council hereby resolves that the fees set forth in Resolution No. 257 be rescinded and the fee schedule be revised as follows, effective January 1, 1998:

  1. Application Fee (Nonrefundable)                          $   30.00 
  2. Annual Business License Fee - “Flea Market”       500.00
  3. Annual Business License Fee - Rental Properties:
    1 - 2 rental units                                                           70.00
    3 - 5 rental units                                                           90.00
    6 - 8 rental units                                                         110.00
    9 or more rental units                                                120.00
    1 rental unit - long term (monthly basis)                  exempt
  4. Annual Business License Fee -  All Others:
    0 - 2 employees (part-time or full-time)                     70.00 
    3 - 5 employees (part-time or full-time)                     90.00
    6 - 8 employees (part-time or full-time)                   110.00
    9 or more employees (part-time or full-time)          120.00

Employee count shall be based on maximum number of employees at any time during the year.

     5. Delinquent Billing Fee                                                 10.00

 

This Resolution passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Depoe Bay on this       1st           day of    December                     , 1997.
